Dripping Springs Ranch Park & Event Center


Dripping Springs Ranch Park is a 110 acre park nestled amidst rolling
landscape, seasonal creeks and ponds with wide open spaces. The park is
home to the city's premiere Event Center with over 166,000 square feet
undercover. The park has a covered arena, outdoor arena, round pen,
trail system, stalls, hookups, wash rack, and bathrooms. The park is
conveniently located 1.5 miles from downtown Dripping Springs near
restaurants, lodging, and entertainment.

Portable pens are permitted at this park and allowed in the primitive
camping area. Primitive camping will be in a flat, open field. RV
Hook-up parking is paved. Dogs are permitted and must be kept on a leash
at all times.

Event Details
This Trail Course will be just a part of the great fun that will be going on at the Dripping Springs Ranch Park on this day! RED ARENA,
a Therapeutic Riding Center helping kids and adults with disabilities
and located in Dripping Springs, will be holding their annual
Round-Up,
a fundraiser consisting of tons of festivities such as wine tasting,
great TX BBQ, a HUGE silent auction from local Dripping Springs
merchants (we have lots of great breweries and shops!), lots of games
for the entire family, and equine events for the kiddos from Red Arena!
All proceeds from this event will go to Red Arena. For more information on Red Arena, please visit their website http://redarena.org.

While the Red Arena Round-Up festivities will use the covered park,
the course for this competition will be on the park's Hill Country trail
system.

The Terrain
The terrain is typical Hill Country, some soft dirt
areas, some rock. Shoes/boots recommended if your equine is not used to
the Hill Country.

Meals
Breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase in
the arena's kitchen. Breakfast will be Chic-fil-A breakfast sandwiches,
lunch will be TX BBQ plate.

Awards
Ribbons and awards will be given to 1st-6th place
Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. 1st-3rd place ribbons for
Youngin's (7-12 years old) and 1st-3rd place ribbons for Juniors (13-17
years old). Recognition ribbon to the highest point Newcomer!
